Explore Italy’s most iconic wine region and experience it like a local
With 2 days on an E-bike, this tour takes you off the beaten path to discover Chianti Classico’s landscapes, villages, local producers' wine, food and stories.
DAY 1 - from FLORENCE to the CHIANTI AREA
Starting from Florence, we ride along scenic backroads that lead into Chianti, avoiding traffic and crowds. You’ll travel ancient routes once used by pilgrims and merchants of the Medici era, while exploring some of the region’s most beautiful medieval towns. Around midday, you’ll arrive at a family-run Chianti Classico winery. Here, you’ll stroll through the estate and enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch paired with wines and extra-virgin olive oil produced on site. In the afternoon, the ride continues along gentle hills and peaceful backroads. Stop at Borgo Machiavelli before continuing to your countryside accommodation near Impruneta, a village renowned for terracotta production since Roman times. The evening is yours to relax by the pool, enjoy the sunset over the vineyards, and savor a traditional dinner featuring regional dishes and local wines.
DAY 2 - from IMPRUNETA to FLORENCE
After breakfast overlooking the hills, you’ll set off for another day in the Chianti countryside. Today’s route takes you deeper into the hills. Cypress-lined roads and vineyard landscapes lead you to another local farm and winery, where you’ll visit the property and enjoy a light lunch with olive oil and wine tastings. The final ride heads back toward Florence via Arcetri, before climbing to San Miniato al Monte, one of Florence’s most breathtaking panoramic viewpoints. After a final stop for photos, you’ll descend into the city, ending this two-day Tuscan journey.
Each day covers about 35 km (21 miles), an achievable distance for anyone, thanks to the comfort of our E-bikes.
This tour is a slow, immersive journey that lets you experience Tuscany through its landscapes, flavors, and everyday life.
Important Notes
- The minimum height for Electric bikes is 150cm / 14 years of age.
- You must be proficient at riding a bike.
- If special care is needed as regards food i.e. (diabetics/allergies) please let us know in advance.
- Luggage transfer is included.
