Dear I Bike Italy,

Thank you for the great time had by six old folks from Kansas. We
had been back a couple of months now and have gotten together to
exchange pictures and talk about our trip. It was unanimous that
among our best experiences in Italy was our bike trip to Fiesole.
Per was a great guide and made the diverse group of 19 all feel
welcome. The winery and olive oil tour and the meal were excellent.

I just wanted to send you an email and thank you for the wonderful tour
through the Tuscan hills that my mom and I went on this past weekend, it was
a real treat. I have already started passing around some the flyers to my
friends at school here in Rome and several people have showed real interest
in doing the Chianti Hike with there parents.

One of the highlights of our Family European Holiday was
with I Bike Italy. Thank you to the tour guide for making our day absolutely fabulous.
My husband, two children, daughter 14 and son 10 had so much wanted to do this bike ride. I knew I was just not fit enough to make the ride. The guide was so nice and accommodating he took the van out that day and drove me up the steepest parts of those Tuscany Hills. He helped us all have the best day riding the bike or travelling in the Van seeing the beautiful country side was fantastic.
The tour was very very worth while, the scenery was magnificent
and the food in the Restaurant at the top of the hill was delicious. The best we tasted in Florence. The winery was very enjoyable tasting some local Chianti and Olive Oil.

We will be recommending this tour to all our friends, we
had a very memorable day. Grazie!

If you do nothing else while you are in Florence, take this bike tour. It was, simpley put, the best day of my vacation. This tour was amazing!!! The views of the countryside, the lunch, the tour of the winery, all of it was simply awesome. I have to say the best part was our guide. He was great. Wow!! We just returned home to the states, and our first mission was to

Many thanks for the wonderful bike ride to Fiesole. It was the perfect
antidote to several days of museums and crowds in Florence. What a relief
it was to get out in the Tuscan countryside and get some fresh air and good
food on a picture-perfect day. Pear was easy-going and very informative and
his directions were easy to follow. The person who took my reservation
(Bill, I think) was friendly and accommodating. The bike tour was the high
point of my time in Florence.

I just wanted to thank you for one of the best days of my life! The tour
was perfect, involving: active riding, beautifully incredible views,
historical sights, engaging stories, delicious alimentation, fascinating
education, enjoyable company, and an alluring countryside. Short, it was
just plain fun! Not to mention, our guide was very good at answering
questions! (Thanks! :) My only worry the whole day was not falling or
swerving because of the terrain, but because I could not stop staring at the
beauty around me! (luckily, I managed to stay on my bike). Anyway, I've been
spreading the word to all my friends who have the slightest inkling of
traveling that they have to bike Italy w/ you.

info and guidance, really great attitude, friendly, allowed the
inexperienced people to save face and ride safely. We are planning to come back next year and do the one or two day tours. Awesome!!

This is Bob (of Bob and Emily). We took your first Fiesole Castles and Vineyards tour of the season, I think. I hadn't been on a bicycle in over 15 years and I liked it so much I had to run out and get one right after returning to the states. I can't say enough good things about how well it was run, the beauty of the route, the scenic overlooks, the food, or the tour of the winery. It was a major highlight of our trip. I would (and already have) recommend your tours to anyone who wants to get away from the incessant buzzing of scooters and enjoy some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen. It was also THE bargain of our trip. If I ever get the chance to travel to Florence again I will do it again.

My friend Ashley and I went on the 30 mile bike tour in Tuscany last fall. We lived in London for the fall semester and went to Italy for a week of travelling. Now we are back in school in the States and think back on our time abroad. One of the best times we had was on this tour. We had a great trip back in September of last year... We finally got a scanner so we could send you some of our pictures.

We intended to do a two day bike tour, but with lack of attendance, we did two individual day tours through Fiesole and Chianti. In between tours, Bill was kind enough to transport us to our great Tuscan country inn, with some of the best homemade cooking we have ever experienced...

We were ever so happy with these tours. On the first day, Jill, who was new at the time, did an excellent job pointing out parts of the countryside and keeping a large group together around Fiesole. On the second day, Armond (sp?) showed us a great time around Chianti, with one of the highlights of the trip visiting Machiavelli's house. We cannot tell you how beautiful this all was... the Tuscan countryside, the gorgeous castles, the quaint villages and towns, the friendly restaurant
owners, the superb food and wine that we get to consume as our award. The pictures we are sending cannot do it justice. It is something people should see and experience for themselves... we will be back. Dave and Eun, Santa Monica, CA

This is Gabriel Cohen--I took your Florence-to-Siena tour the first weekof this past October. After a European Grand Tour laden with the usualround of cities, museums, and churches, it was very refreshing to getout and get a feel for the Tuscan countryside. In two days, I worked offseveral pounds of pasta and gelato, met some nice people, learned a lotabout Chianti, had a couple of the most memorable meals of my entiretrip (including the tagliatelle w/ chicken livers!), and ended up with atrue highlight of a six-week trip. Thank you for making the Italian experience all it could be! I Bike Italy was certainly the one experience my daughter and I were looking forward to. Since she is a college student in the study abroad program, she and her two friends were looking forward to some fun and exciting action on their free weekend. They rated their biking excursion with seeing the countryside, the lunch, and wine and olive oil making tour as one of the most exhilarating Italian experiences yet, and it has all been great!

You were right, after being in Italy for an extended period, it was refreshing to get away from the museums, churches, paintings and statues for a while. I appreciate your knowledgable skills and expertise on the bikes and the Tuscany countryside. I also have the greatest admiration for your (Diana's) meritorious approach and responsiveness to every ability and personality of each participant in the group. We had a group of a dozen women ranging in ages from 20 to 50, and different biking experience levels. WE HAD THE MOST MARVELOUS TIME........even in the rain on our way down.
