Change pace and scenery, feel a cool breeze, breathe some fresh air, and really see Tuscany!
This leisurely, professionally guided and fully supported bike ride in the Tuscan countryside just outside of Florence will lead you along olive groves, vineyards, medieval castles, hillside villa estates and breathtaking panoramic views of Florence, as you reach the heart of Tuscany, the wine area called CHIANTI.
A full day among the Tuscan landscapes, with a stop for lunch at a Chianti Villa Estaste, where you will take a guided tour of the vineyards, the “cantina” and the “Orciaia” olive oil cellar. You will learn the tecniques of production, ageing, storing and bottleing the wines and olive oils, before enjoying a light lunch where you will carbo-load on bruschetta and pasta. Local wine tasting will accompany your meal. Then get ready for your ride back to our deposit. Leave the bikes and jump on the minivan, for a safe drive back to Florence downtown.
We will meet you and drop you at our office downtown Florence and take you to the Chianti area with a shuttle (about 10mins ride). We will provide quality 21 speed bicycles, helmets, water bottles, delicious Tuscan meals, a winery and cellar guided tour and bilingual guides to show you the way. A minivan support is always available to fix any flats or help the occasional tired biker!
Departure Daily pick up at 9.00am from Florence with our shuttle and drive to Chianti.

FLORENCE CITY BIKE TOUR
Bicycling in Florence is a unique tour that will help you discover the most out of the cradle of Renaissance in two hours and in the most entertaining way. Our tour will start from our office on Via Calzaiuoli, near Signoria Square, right in the centre of the city. The tour guide will lead the way and will drive you through the narrow streets, in pedestrian areas, reaching the most amazing monuments of Florence and unknown spots from where to admire the city: Santa Maria Novella, Oltrarno, the artisans shops, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, San Niccolo, Piazza della Signoria, the medieval district, the Duomo, and Piazza della Repubblica! We will stop at several location to relax, enjoy more about the tour and even have a wonderful Gelato (ice-cream) or a coffee in the Oltrarno district.
CHILDREN POLICY: Families with children are welcome to join the tour! We provide child seats for younger peeps; kid trailers, and helmets are available by request. Children under 12 are not allowed to ride by themselves, though. They will be accommodated on child seats with Parents or on our tandem bike! From 1 to 6 years old children are free of charge (including ice cream!) when on board of parents. From 6 to 12 will provide child seats or a Tandem Trailer Bikes with an extra price of Euros 20. Over 12 your kids will be biking on an individual bike (no reduction will be applied in this case).
